Content Writer & Meme Connoisseur

You are the voice. Our LinkedIn, our weekly newsletter, The Brief, our campaigns: every word the world reads from Inglorious passes through you. You'll turn dense topics like banking, payments, crypto and regulation into content people actually want to read, and you'll know exactly when a meme says it better than a paragraph.

Remote, worldwide Full-time Posted 19 Aug 2026
The role

Inglorious writes a lot. A weekly newsletter, The Brief (a news-driven article every Monday), LinkedIn every day, campaign copy, decks, landing pages. Right now that load is spread across people whose actual jobs are something else. We want it in the hands of someone whose actual job is words.

You'll own the voice. Not the strategy, that's the Marketing Manager. Not the design. The voice: what Inglorious sounds like when it explains why a bank just debanked a prediction market, or why your PSP's fees are not the real problem. Serious subjects, unserious delivery when it fits, always clear.

Ideal for: Writers who can make compliance sound interesting, hold their own in a boardroom, and post a perfectly timed meme five minutes later.

What you'll do
  • Write marketing and social content that gets read, saved and shared. LinkedIn first, everything else second.
  • Turn ideas, briefs and half-formed Slack messages into clear, compelling copy.
  • Shape our weekly newsletter and The Brief, from the headline to the last line.
  • Keep the brand voice consistent across every channel: confident, direct, a little irreverent, never boring.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on content ideas, campaigns and the overall strategy.
  • Use memes thoughtfully and effectively. Yes, this is in the job description. No, we are not joking.
What we're looking for
  • Strong writing skills in English. Clean sentences, sharp headlines, zero filler.
  • Creativity, curiosity and attention to detail. You notice the typo, the weak verb and the missed angle.
  • A real understanding of digital content and social media: what works on LinkedIn, and why.
  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Remote, autonomous, accountable.
  • A portfolio or writing samples. Show us, don't tell us.
Bonus points

An opinion on what separates a good meme from a great one, and the restraint to know when not to post at all. Interest in fintech, payments or crypto helps, but we can teach the industry. We can't teach taste.

How we work
01

100% Remote

Work from anywhere on Earth. No office. No commute. No compromise.

02

Zero Micromanagement

We hire you because you're an expert. We don't look over your shoulder. We stay out of your way so you can do your best work.

03

Radical Responsibility

You have total autonomy, but you own the outcome. We only ask for two things: that the work is done on time and that it is done exceptionally well.

Inglorious is an equal opportunity employer. We don't care where you're from; we care where you're going.
